International Research Awards On Computer Aided Design In Mechanical Engineering
This study presents the development of an in-situ impregnation model for fiber bundles in a typical co-extrusion process employed in three-dimensional (3D) additive manufacturing of continuous fiber composites, aiming to elucidate the underlying mechanisms involved in the process and, consequently, to predict optimal manufacturing parameters.
